Greater Hartford Chapter - Mission and Vision
Through innovative programs and partnerships with key stakeholders, we strive to positively impact the success of African Americans in the Greater Hartford business community.
History - Greater Hartford Chapter
Established in 1995 and recognized with full Chapter status in 1997, the Greater Hartford Chapter of NBMBAA is a non-profit organization that develops and executes programs designed to promote economic and intellectual wealth for the Connecticut and Western Massachusetts African-American community. The organization consists of MBAs, business professionals, entrepreneurs and MBA students that work in both the private and public sector. The members of Greater Hartford Chapter share a commitment to education and business – the two principal keys to the economic development of the African American community.
History - National Organization
Established in 1970, the National Black MBA Association is dedicated to develop partnerships that result in the creation of intellectual and economic wealth in the black community. In partnership with over 400 of the country's top business organizations, the association has inroads into a wide range of industries as well as the public and private sector. Yet all of NBMBAA's partners have one thing in common: they are all committed to the organization's goals and values. The organization gains its strength from a strong belief in community and a commitment to its development through economic and educational development initiatives that support the global African American community.
